Hi Guru,

We are Singapore PR since September 2009. Me and my wife bought resale HDB 4A in April 2012 at S$ 450 K. My wife left me after 1 year in 2013 and went to India. After reaching India, she filed divorce case on cruelty basis and I contested and I won. I tried my best to call her back. But she didn't come.

After I bought resale HDB, now 4 years 2 months finished. I would like to know,

once 5 years MOP will complete, can I sell out this property without my wife presence ?

Also, since beginning major investment done by me and all loan installments are paid by me. So, I would like to know, how property share will happen ?

Also, can I rent out my property in current situation ?

Morning,

Based on the earlier statement, your ex-spouse filed a divorce against you based on ill-treatment and you have won the case. The court should have issued an court order on the judgement. With the court order, you can easily request for sales of the unit through HDB. The only challenging component would come in when you do not have the relevant documents.
