1) ABSD is a cooling instrument to protect the Singapore property market from bubbles.
2) This also helps to protect our assets from depreciation due to crises, speculations, etc.

3) Although it might look steep from the first look, this method is widely employed by major prosperous cities such as:

(c) Sydney: 8%
