Hi guru, I have a hdb unit in tanjong pagar blk8, is it better to sell or can I rent out a room. My 73 years old mom wishes to hold on to it until she passes away. I am concern whether there will be significant fall in price by then. Appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Afternoon Ocean, Properties within Tanjong Pagar whould not depreciate much as there isn't much land for near HDB units. Since your mother is considering holding onto it, you might have an issue convincing her to sell it off. And if she's currently staying in that unit, you might want to consider if she's comfortable staying with strangers.
