Hi Guru,
I am SPR and holding an HDB which I purchased from the resale market.
Now I am planning to purchase second property while retaining the first property and here are my questions:
Q1. Can I Purchase EC which is 5 yrs old and retain both HDB and EC (5 yrs old)
Q2. Can I Purchase EC which is 10yrs old and retain the HDB

Afternoon,

You have purchased the resale unit as SPR, hence you must be married to either SC or SPR. To purchase another private property, in your case, a 5 years EC, you need to fulfill the MOP of your current unit, depending on when it was purchased.
Do note that you will only be granted max of 60% loan from bank, if your current HDB is still under mortgage loan.
