Hi.. from the new ruling, i understand that the seller will never know the valuation report.. for example, if i were to sell my flat at $400k, and the valuation given to the buyer by hdb is $370k, where does the $30k cov goes to..?

Morning Mrs. Katrina,

Since the agreement transaction pricing is at $400k, it's the buyer's duty to top up the difference if they choose to exercise the OTP. The $400k selling price will be used to offset your mortgage loan, CPF OA and interest, upgrading fee payable and the balance will be your profit. You will not be short changed.
