hi all , not very sure if this is the correct place to post this. im stuck with appealing higher HLE loan . As my spouse is a non citizen , work permit holder , we intend to buy a resale flat from open market. I did my HLE and it only approve 150k . I wrote in to appeal for a higher loan and this is what HDB replied me .

2 Under our current credit assessment guidelines, only applicants' income can be considered for credit assessment for a loan. Flat occupier's income are not taken into account for loan assessment. As your husband, is a non-citizen and can only be listed as an occupier, we are unable to consider his income for loan assessment.
3 Nevertheless, in view of your circumstances, we are prepared to seek a special approval to consider your husband's income for loan assessment. Please let us have the documents listed in the attached Annex for our evaluation of your case .
