Hi all, i would like to seek for advice on the following question.
Me and my wife are both SPR and intend to convert to Singaporean in near future. However, if i own a terrace house in malaysia under a tenency in common with my brothers (eg, 25% each). Can i still able to buy resale HDB or brand new HDB in Singapore with JT with my wife.
Appreciate any helps.

Hi, you can buy resale HDB provided you sell your share of the Malaysian property, that you co-own with your brother, within 6mths of the purchase.

Under the new regulations, buyers cannot own private property whether in Singapore or overseas once they own a HDB for the first 5 years.
