Hi all guru agents.

I would like to seek your opinion and will select those who have showed substantial knowledge in property investing to help in my quest to purchase a few properties.

I'm a businessman and will be retiring soon. Have not touched on property before.

Please advice me on which location will be a good buy. Be it landed, new launch condo or resale condo.

Which property will likely worth every single cent of my money and will fetch good rental yields.

I have heard that condos in Sentosa is actually a good buy as the psf is lower compare to other areas as it is exclusive and mins away from CBD. Correct me if I'm wrong.

How about property in the west where the upcoming 2nd CBD will hopefully help to pull the prices up?

Will pay agent commission even as buyer.

Hi Ray,

Regards to property investment, I always believe in “Invest at today price”. Therefore, I agree with you that West region will have huge potential growth and worth investment, another region you might want to consider is the North East region (Punggol /Sengkang).

Apart from Sentosa, condos in D9/10 are also proven choice for rental yield.

Therefore, I thought that it will be a wise choice to diversify your investment over the areas that I had mentioned.

Hope that I had answered your questions and make sense to you.

Feel free to contact me if you need my assistance.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Ray,

In land scarce Singapore, what other properties are more worthwhile to invest in other than landed properties? If you are a Singaporean or foreigner who has obtained approval to purchase landed properties in Singapore, there is no better time than now to enter into the market. Wish to know why? It will take quite sometime for me to finish typing it here. To summarise, if you are looking for capital appreciation, do not look elsewhere other than landed properties. If you are looking for good rental yield, look for projects near to MRT stations and commercial/industrial activities.

For a start, you may wish to look at purchasing a small landed property unit near to Paya Lebar area since that area will also be developed (Oxley Bizhub etc.). My team has a couple of nice units in the area that are looking at Read More
