Hello Ken,

whether its freehold or leasehold, both tenures have chances of being sold en-bloc. But the key deciding factor would be the location. Even if a project is freehold and put up for en-bloc sale, but the location has no potential, then no one is going to bite. Hence location is the key.

There are many 99yrs LH properties which have successfully been sold en-bloc and redeveloped.
For example :
- Silversea (D15), former Amberville
- D'leedon (D10), former Farrer Court
- Twin Peaks (D9), former Grangeford apartments

I hope this clarifies your doubts.

Best Regards
