Good Morning,
Can someone advise me on my case : I bought a property last year just before migrating to Australia, thinking it would be a good idea for me whenever I return back later I wouldn't have to worry of buying a property since the market value is keep going up after all.
The big issue is, I was not allowed to sublet my property due to MOP. This already happen after so many application made either to HDB and written to the MP. All I want to know is what are the penalty incurred to me if I have no choice to sell my property before my MOP is up? Or are there any other options for me to sublet the property? By the way, I'm having a bank loan on this property.

Are you SC or PR? What was your purpose in Australia? Under company work assignment, personal business or study?

To sell your HDB unit prior MOP require substantial reason and you will be liable for SSD. Depending on your LO, you might also be liable for bank penalty charges.
