For those who need to pay resale levy to HDB when buying an EC....after selling their HDB, who ( the EC showroom agent, the HDB agent who sells my flat or HDB will initiate the payment of the levy? Does it need to be in cash or can be both cash and CPF ? What does the owners need to do ?

Good morning,

Resale levy are paid to HDB on purchase of second subsidized unit. This payment have to be made with cash. It's initiated by HDB and is likely deducted from the sales profit.
