Hi,

1) You may buy overseas property by using a courier service to deliver the legal document to complete the transaction.
2) Alternatively you may also appoint a Power-Of-Attorney (POA) to execute the purchase for you.
3) A flat owner or occupier is allowed to acquire an interest in commercial or industrial properties without residential accommodation, as well as vacant land not zoned for residential development within the HDB MOP.
4) If the property concerned includes a residential accommodation which is classified as a residential property. The flat owner or occupier may buy it only after satisfying the required occupation period of your flat.
