Dear Experts,
Sraight to the point. I intend to sell my 4I HDB and expect to gain approx 200K hard cash. Financially, CPF doesnt left much except for approx 25K in investment.Monthly income est 4k +-.Question: Base on this status, would i be able to invest in private property within my means? ( i do have place to stay though), Any problem with bank loan application to service the loan? What property price I should look at that is more approperiate for me? PREFERABLE 999 OR FH.

Thanks for your respond and advice, however if you reply is "hi, ned any assistance just drop me a email @ xxxxxx or give me a call atxxxxx" please do not respond.. cos we need basic advise before we decide who is the better agent to work with..:-) no offence.. Cheers!

Hi Ken,

I am also straight to the point.

1. I presume you have done some calculation and expect to receive cash proceed of $200k after selling your 4I HDB. But need to verify again how much you need to return to CPF and also any outstanding loan from HDB.

2. Based on 4k+ monthly income and $200k hard cash, i would think you can probably invest in a 2-bedder property with good rental yield (~$800k). But of course, it really depends on your financial status (any car loan, personal loan, etc) how much you can borrow from the bank. I would advise you to do a Approval-In-Principle (AIP) first. From there, you will know how much bank is willing to lend you and can look around for the suitable private property.

3. The key thing is to look for tenanted property (4-5% rental yield) to buy or those with good potential for capital appreciation. Again, if you are keen to explore, we can discuss in further details.

Appreciate you can call me at 96836230  to discuss. We can meet up and have a good discussion.

Thanks,
