Hi Anne,

Stamp duties are paid to the Singapore Government, and Developers do not earn a single cent from it.

However, to attract and entice Buyers, some Developers do give "discounts" off their original listed price. Do take note that, the Buyer will still be subjected to Stamp Duties should they opt to purchase the "discounted" new launches units.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you and your partner in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen

Good morning Anne,

Tax and duties are payable to the government hence it's quite unlikely that developer will absorb on that directly. However, based on the project type, some developers might provide buyers with discount for preview units or unsold units.

Do feel free to contact me should you require additional assistance.
