For Foreigners to buy a Condo unit in Singapore, there is no restriction for Strata-titled housing. Except the Additional Buyer Stamp duty of 15% plus 3% Normal Stamp duty, the rest of the procedure is the same. Call me if you need more info. Dear foreign buyer,

Using the KISS principle, pick up the phone and speak to a qualified salesperson and he/she will take care and advise on what are the things to do moving forward and arranging for the necessary consultants and experts in their related field to speak to you if applicable. Your work will be cut out this way.

Dear Madam,

You can buy a condominium in singapore. First you need to advice whether you intend to take any bank loan or paying in full. For bank loan it's better to do a inprincipal approval and know how much you can loan as a foreigner. Then you can decide on the purchase value how much you can afford to go for. If you looking for 1million sing dollars you need to come out about 480000 which is based on 70% loan 30% down payment and 18% stamp duty if you are going for condominium or strata title.

If you are looking at commercial property then no worries you can get higher loan and there is no additional stamp duty just follow the standard will do.

Hi Ms Choi, I am Bryan from ERA. The first step is to find out how much is your maximum budget is. If you are getting a bank loan, look for a bank to get an In Principle Approval (IPA).It will indicate how much loan you will be able to get from the bank. Do take note that for foreigners, there is an Additional Buyer Stamp Duty on top of the regular. Feel free to contact me, I will be glad to guide you through the whole process, my number is 86912345 or you can email me at bryanlee@era.com.sg. Thank you and have a nice day Ms Choi. Warmest Regards, Bryan Lee. ERA. Read More
