Good morning buyer,

Not that I heard of such program.

Do take note that if you are keen to purchase a residential property in Singapore as a foreigner, you will be subject to 15% additional buyer's stamp duty on top of the estimated 3% buyer's stamp duty (of purchase price).

For instance a $1m, stamp duties will be $174,600.

Hi,

I don't think there is a retirement program in place. To get a residential property in SG, a foreigner purchaser has to be liable for 18% stamp duties, that's about 175K for a $1mil property, is that something you are open to? Thanks and hope to assist further.

There is a Global Investor Programme (GIP) to encourage foreigners to set up and operate businesses in Singapore for your consideration. Current initial investment is SGD2.5m for a minimum of 5 years in GIP approved fund or new business entity.

The programme would allow the applicant to receive Permanent Residency and save on up to 10% ABSD (Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty) on the purchase of the first residential property in Singapore.
