Kim Keat Avenue is situated in Toa Payoh. Kim Keat Avenue is the second satellite town of Singapore, has been the most preferred choice among property investors and families due to the availability of mostly all basic facilities and amenities. The place was named so due to the presence of many large swamps and people also used to engage themselves in farming and pig rearing practices. Spread across an area of 8 sq. km with an estimated population of 150,000 residents, the place has a very interesting history. The foundation of the town was built in 1968 after Queenstown.
