Tampines HDB Estate is Known as the largest HDB Estate in Singapore, The Tampines or Tampines New comprises an area of 4.24 km with more than 200k residents within its region. Located in the Eastern Zone of Singapore, the area is named after Tampines Tree.  The Housing and Development Board of Singapore undertook the construction of Tampines HDB Estate. Upon completion, the board handed over it to the Tampines Town Council in the year 1991.
