Tampines Street 21  is situated in the third largest town in Singapore, ‘Tampines’ has got its name from the iron trees or tempinis as called in Malay, which was abundantly available in the area. The area was earlier covered with swamps, forests and sand quarries and a part of military training until 1987. The town which comes under Tampines HDB Estate houses over 200,000 people housed in 52,000 flats spreads over 4.24 kilometers of area.
