Tampines Street 11 is located in one of the largest HDB estates of Singapore called Tampines or also known as Tampines New Town. The area is densely populated hence is a very popular residential area in the country. The name is derives from the large number of Tampines tress forests present in the area. The total area is spread across 4.24 kilometers approximately and houses around 200,00 people in about 52,000 flats. The construction of the residential units was initially started by the Housing and Development Board that was later handed over in 1991 to the ‘Tampines Town Council'.
