PropertyGuru celebrated an eventful 2015 with a show of appreciation for its clients at the recent Lunar New Year Appreciation Lunch 2016.
With the Lunar New Year just around the corner, PropertyGuru Singapore took the opportunity to share the festive joy with over 70 of its valued property developer and real estate agency clients, at our Lunar New Year Appreciation Lunch 2016.
There was certainly cause for celebration, as PropertyGuru Group had crossed multiple milestones in 2015, including a $175 million investment, alongside various business acquisitions. Of course, it recognized that all this would not have been possible without the strong support of its clients.
In his opening address, Lewis Ng, Managing Director of PropertyGuru Singapore, said: “Today is all about you and our appreciation for your vote of confidence in our ability to help grow your business. Our achievements of 2015, including the $175 million investment and the acquisition of ePropertytrack, Rumahdijual.com and recently, the Asia Property Awards and Property Report, were only made possible because of your belief in PropertyGuru.”
Held at Majestic Bay Seafood Restaurant at Gardens by the Bay on 22 January 2016, Asia’s leading property portal also gave out awards to its clients in a show of recognition of the effective and creative use of its myriad advertising platforms.

(L to R) PropertyGuru kick-started Lunar New Year celebrations with a joyful ‘lo hei’ and a presentation of awards to the winners including Far East Organization, Kingsford Development and World Class Land.
Winners included Kingsford Development, the recipient of the Special Appreciation Award, an award presented to developers in appreciation of support they have given the company’s platforms and capabilities, ensuring success for their advertising campaigns in 2015.
Other winners included World Class Land and Far East Organization, who won in the Most Integrated Campaign and Best Use of Agent Engagement Media categories, respectively.
Guests undoubtedly had a great time networking with industry peers, taking the opportunity to exchange thoughts on pertinent real estate issues. It was also a chance for industry peers to get together, as intimated by many guests.
The event closed with PropertyGuru’s CEO and co-founder, Steve Melhuish, reiterating the company’s gratitude to all the guests whilst wishing them an even more bountiful 2016.
“Thank you for all your support in 2015, and here’s to a 2016 where we continue to give you the real results we promise!” he said.
