Would appreciate if someone could enlighten me on this following issue.
My wife owns a HDB unit 5 years before we got married. She bought it when she was single and listed her mum as an essential occupier. Her mum's name is no longer listed now and my name is yet to be included. It has been about 5 years since we are married and 10 years since she has the house. We've since paid off the mortgage loan in full. We have a 3 yr old twins. Now my question is, am I able to purchase a private condo solely under my name and will I be able to avoid the ABSD considering my name is not in the HDB house that is currently only under my wife's name?
