You can start the viewings before the 35th birthday is here, but can only enter an OTP contract officially after you turn 35 years old. It will take approx 3.5 months from OTP day 1 paper work to hdb completion appointment. It might be good to check out the indicative bank loan first.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Theoretically, you can complete in 12 weeks from the date of the option. Operationally, you may be completed in about 16 weeks as there may be other variables such as delays in submission of proper documents etc.
