I am not too sure what do you mean by your husband has property inheritance in Malaysia. The key thing is that in order to be eligible to purchase a HDB, not only BTO, your husband cannot own any other properties, whether in or out of Singapore.

Any deviation from this, you may like to put up an appeal to justify and hope that HDB will accept the appeal.

In this situation, you will not be eligible to apply for a BTO flat.

You may wish to write in to HDB to appeal for you to get a resale HDB flat instead. Do take note that approval is on a case-by-case basis.

If all fails, you may wish to consider private residential instead.
