Investment is really about exiting with profit, and reinvesting the money to make more profit.

Reviewing the prices you may achieve from the sale now, and working out the sums, is the return justifiable if you were to exit at this stage. It will also make a difference over the apartment configuration, as a 2 bedder typically will have a bigger pool of buyers than a 1 bedroom unit.

Are you the owner of a unit in Alex Residence?

To be honest, in today's market with the stamp duties payable, a resale unit selling with existing tenancy may be may be harder to sell off than a new launch. Unless your rental yield is very attractive, or that the Buyer is looking for own stay, and is willing to wait for the tenancy to be over.

Also, may I ask what is your objectives of selling off your unit? Are you planning to restructure your property portfolio? Because, if you do not have a clear plan in place, I would advise you not to sell it, keep the property, and allow the tenant to help you pay for the mortgage installments.
