As with all investments, there is always a consideration of entry point as well as exit point. Reason why many investors are unable to roll on with returns on their investments is because they have not enter the investment with an exit in mind.
By having an exit in mind, it simply means working out your sums on the amount of returns you are able to generate from making an exit from the investment, which is the same for all types of investments. It is not about timing it to maximise your gains because that window period of maximised gains could be small, and real estate investment takes time to liquidate, therefore may miss the window especially applicable if the project you have is a big project or nearby a few big projects where there are similar investors looking to exit at the highest point.
Investment is really about exiting with profit, and reinvesting the money to make more profit.
Reviewing the prices you may achieve from the sale now, and working out the sums, is the return justifiable if you were to exit at this stage. It will also make a difference over the apartment configuration, as a 2 bedder typically will have a bigger pool of buyers than a 1 bedroom unit.
