When do I need to pay for the stamp duties and legal fees for resale flat

Hi Desmond,

1) There are 8 weeks to completion (HDB appointment) after the resale application is approved by HDB.
2) Stamp duty and the legal fee has to be standby once the resale application is approved. HDB or private lawyer will call for this payment once all documents are enforced.
3) By right, this amount has to take into consideration before making any purchase.
4) Both fees can be paid using CPF as long as there is sufficient funds in your OA. Otherwise, you have to prepare cash for these fees.
