When buying a pte apt like in HDB, do I need to pay commmision to my agent ? Or it is common practice that the buyer and seller agents will cobroke and get a cut from the seller ?

Hi Loong Ng,

For HDB, buyer pays 1% to his agent and seller pays 2% to his agent.

For Private condo, buyer need not pay comm. and your agent will get the comm. split from the seller's agent.
