What will happen to the CPF monies of the deceased? If the HDB is joint-tenancy and one of the owner is deceased. 1.When the HDB is sold, will the CPF monies of the deceased be refunded back to the deceased CPF a/c? 2. If the monies is not refunded back to the deceased CPF a/c, would the other joint-tenancy survivor inherit the deceased CPF monies as part of the property?

Evening, Almost all CPF account holders who have done the nomination for the their CPF monies, in the case they passed on. If such nomination is not done, the spouse can apply through court for grant of probate to retrieve the funds. As for HDB unit, if it's under joint tenancy, the surviving owner will automatically inherit the share of the deceased. FYI Mike Lim 96929209  m52i@yahoo.com ERA Read More
