2. Until the Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) of 5 years is fully met, neither the owner nor occupier is allowed to relocate or sell the flat.

3. Relocation or application for another flat can only be considered after fulfilling the MOP, regardless of personal circumstances.

Hi do you mean that the house is still under MOP and hubby wants to move elsewhere? Please note this is not allowed under HDB's rules. All owners and occupiers must reside in the flat for 5 years.

1) Under the HDB policy:
(a) All spouse must either be the owner or the core occupier.
(b) All owner(s) & core occupier(s) must live in the flat a minimum occupany period for 5 years.
2) Failure to complete the 5 years MOP might lead to the flat being forcefully take back by the authority.
