Good afternoon,

Do contact HDB branch office if it's a HDB and approach a law firm if it's a private property.

Care to share what's the intention behind this move?

Hope my sharing helps in aiding in your enquiry. May I know how can I value add further in your property needs?

Best regards,

YT Tan

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, I believe you are referring to a private property and just get in touch with a law firm will do.

Hi,

If you own a property and wish to add another person, such as a spouse or child, to the title of the property, you can do so through a process called property transfer.

1) Consult a lawyer: It is mandatory to consult a lawyer to guide you through the legal process of transferring property ownership to another person.
2) Obtain consent from existing con-owners: If there are existing co-owners of the property, you will need to obtain their cnsent before adding a new person to the title.
3) Prepare the transfer documents: You will need a lawyer to do this for you. This may include a deed of transfer (gift) or a sale and purchase agreement.
4) Pay any applicable fees: The beneficiary will need to pay a gift stamp duty or buyer stamp duty and/or additional buyer stamp duty if applicable.
5) Loage the transfer documents: The lawyer will lodge the transfer documents with SLA. Once the transfer has been registered, the new owner's name will appear on the property title.
It is important to note that the process of adding another person to a property can be complex and will involve legal and financial implications. It is advisable to seek professional advice before proceeding with the property transfer.
