Hi Susan,
If you are going to take HLE, you can check if you are eligible using this link

As for bank loan, most banks only lend up to a maximum of 65 years - current age. However, there is a minimum amount cap. Hence the best would be to check with your bankers. I can refer bankers to you if you like as well.
