Instead of asking how much a salesperson charges for selling a HDB, a more beneficial question should be how much can the salesperson sell the unit for, since when there is no sale, no commission is payable. If selling price achieved is good, a reasonable profit sharing can be reached when seller earns more and salesperson also earn more, both parties are happy and will carry on the relationship to another transaction in future. When seller is happy, they will refer friends or relatives to the salesperson and salesperson will likely give out referral fees to seller for introducing another client, and the whole cycle evolves.
