Some examples:
1) buy private sell HDB or buy private sell private
you might want to extend the option period longer so you can have a buyer to exercise your sale otp first then you exercise your purchase otp. This is to avoid paying ABSD upfront and able to wait for funds to be back first to pay for the purchase. If not bridging loan might help.
2) buy HDB sell HDB or buy HDB sell private
if you are financially capable and dont need funds from sale to finance purchase, you can proceed to do so first.
If not, you might have to extend resale submission period to get a buyer to exercise your sale otp so you can complete your sale first and use the funds for purchase if not bridging loan might help too.
Extension falls outside completion.
