Formula:
Plot Ratio = Total Permitted Gross Floor Area ÷ Land Area
So a plot ratio of 2.8 means you are allowed to build up to 2.8 times the land area in total floor space.
Example:
If the land area is 1,000 m², then:
Permitted Gross Floor Area = 1,000 × 2.8 = 2,800 m²
This could be achieved with different building forms, as long as the total floor area does not exceed 2,800 m².
