Hi,

May I know if you are referring to private property or HDB? If the former, typically it takes approximately 8 to 10 weeks for the whole process to complete, and can cost approx 5k to 6k. The outgoing owner can purchase once the OTP is exercised by the remaining owner, and need not wait until legal completion.

If its for HDB, the process will vary as it involves HDB's input. This will lengthen the process as they need to ascertain your eligibility to do so.

Hi,

1) The timeline of a part sale of a property is the same as selling/buying a property.
2) The legal process timing is hardly able to be shortened since it needs the same 8 authorities' approval.
3) If there is no outstanding loan on the said property then it can be completed within 8 weeks, or 12 weeks if there is an outstanding loan.
4) All costs such as valuation, and legal fees are the same as buying a complete property. Buyer stamp duty shall depend on the cost of the share buying.
