Were renting in a flat for 7 1/2 years. Our washing machine is already spoilt and ask our agent to let the owner knows but the owner wants us to buy on our own expense. Owner refused to share. Is that fair for us tenant ?

I don't see it as whether is it fair or not, but rather is the landlord obligated to provide a new set of washing machine to the tenant. If the landlord has such an obligation to do so, then the tenant can actually buy and bill to the landlord instead. Read More
