We recently rented a 2 bedroom apartment from an advertiser on Property Guru. The landlord who is a first time owner turn out to be a nightmare from hell. We would like to get out of this 2 year contract sooner.

Can anyone please advise me what are my rights:

1) The Landlord did not give us the apartment as per letter of intent. Removed items from the apartment, day curtains, roller blinds, chandelier in Master bedroom

2) Reject our application for an extra access card

3)Provide us with a feature wall on the day that we moved in we cannot hang a bigger TV. In any case, the feature wall is not safe. As it is hanging lose.

Can someone helped me here. I don't feel comfortable in this apartment and we don't feel safe any more. Is there anyway to get out of this contract?

Thanks

    Hi Lyna

There is no agent involved in this case. This turns out to be an nightmare.

I found out the following from the MCST office and the developer, they told me they are difficult and created alot of problems for them.

This is a brand new project and the warranty period is just running out.

There are so many issues,we don't know what to do anymore.

Do I've the rights to exercise the clause that says peaceful environment? The premise is not peaceful, loads of noise from the Tennis court and also a safety hazard.
