We have a private condo that is currently rented out. Will like to buy a second private condo for own stay. We are currently staying in hdb fully paid. We are Singaporeans age 43. How to go about the transition of working out the sums? Eg. After selling, how much can we draw from cpf OA+SA to finance the 2nd condo? How much cash outflow we need? Loan Amt eligible? Fyi, Selling hdb ($500k) and buying the 2nd condo ($1.3mil)

Evening, Based on your enquiry, you are looking at selling your HDB to purchase your second private property. I would need to know a few more details so as to provide better advise: 1) Did you utilize CPF for the payment of your current private property? 2) Do you intend to utilize all the funding from the sales of your HDB to facilitate the purchase? 3) Are both of you still currently working and how much is your current income? Good evening! I will advise you to apply for in principle approval (max loan tenure: lower of 30 years or retirement age of 65 years old) with bankers to gauge how much is your loan amount for next purchase while at the meantime, we can work out the sales profit of your HDB. To derive at sales profit, I will need your CPF OA utilized for the unit. As for your purchase, if you have utilized CPF OA funds for your private condo, each of you have to keep a minimum sum of $77.5k (from 1 july 14 onwards) in combined OA + SA respectively before you can utilize your CPF OA funds for the purchase.
