We as a couple own HDB resale flat bought with bank loan.. Our REP rejected as we both are living in abroad in recent months. Do I need to sell my HDB flat in Singapore now? We bought this resale flat on dec 2007. Please suggest

Afternoon,

You will have to check with ICA what results in the rejection of your Re-Entry Permit.
If you do not get that sort out, HDB have the rights to take back your unit.
Under ICA ruling, SPR who is outside Singapore and do not have valid RE-Entry Permit, will lose their PR status.
With HDB ruling, only SC and SPR are allowed to hold HDB units. Putting this two issues together, I'm sure you can see the consequences.
