We are two brothers (both PRs ). We bought one hdb flat in March 2011, when both of us were single. Now we are married and we are living with our families in the same house. We want to buy one more house. Can we apply? What are the options?

Vignesh,

you have to first fulfill the applicable minimum occupation period of your flat (5 years) before doing anything like purchasing another flat etc.

Or you may want to call in to HDB and see whether can you appeal to transfer the ownership.

No harm giving it a try. Hope you can get some good news!

Afternoon,

As you have not fulfilled MOP and the purchase should be special approval from HDB, you might need to write into HDB and appeal for your case again. Part purchase might be possible.
