Hi,

It is possible to only have only you taking up the loan as long as your income is able to fetch the loan amount. Your husband's cpf can be used as per normal.

To be borrower you must be owner as well. Yes owner's CPF OA can be utilized for the down payment.

If you are designated as an occupier without being listed as an applicant, you are ineligible to apply for any loan. Additionally, it's important to note that only the owner is qualified to apply for a housing loan, whether it's an HDB loan or a bank loan. This distinction was effective as of May 7, 2021.

Hi Pradeepa,

1) Yes, your husband's CPF can be utilized for the downpayment since he is an owner.
2) You can set your CPF account using the e-service to determine whose CPF account to service the monthly mortgage.
3) This can be changed anytime, but the CPF needs a few working days to get it effective, so do not make the changes at the last minute.
