We are planning to apply for a 2-room Flexi Flat in the upcoming BTO launch, with me (a Singapore citizen) being the 1st applicant, and my husband (a Korean citizen) being the 2nd applicant as a Non-resident spouse. FYI: my husband lives and works in Korea.
However, HDB’s Eligibility Condition for Non-resident spouse states that he “must be holding a valid Visit Pass (for his case) of any validity period at the time of flat application”.
1) Does HDB actually meant that my husband has to be personally in Singapore during the flat application for each & every subsequent BTO launches?
2) Is he able to appoint a HDB Power of Attorney to submit any upcoming BTO flat applications on his behalf instead and does HDB Power of Attorney actually has the right to submit such application?
Do appreciate your professional advice on this with many thanks!
