we are married singaporeans self employed both of our combined income is 12.6k can we still apply a new EC from developer? i understand they only recognise 70% of our income as we are self employed right with 30% haircut? which means its just 8.8k?

Afternoon, HDB regulation indicate that combined income for purchase of new EC have being capped at $12k. This might the first hurdle which you need to clear. Good afternoon, You can express interest in the EC first then try to appeal to the developer before the balloting. Normally they will let those buyers will fulfill all the conditions to purchase first and if there are any leftover units, they will consider appeals. Btw you cannot mix income ceiling of $12k and bank regulation of self employed income. 2 different entities. If you need any assistance in your EC purchase, feel free to contact me. Cheers!
