We are both PR and in the process of buying a resale HDb. We are waiting for our 1st Appointment date but recently notified by ICA on our SC approval. Is the 5% ABSD still applicable for us? Please advise.

Hi, I believe that you have already appointed a legal firm to act for you on the purchase of the HDB unit. So your lawyer will be the best person to consult.

Hi,

Congratulation to your success in becoming SC.

Technical speaking the time count from when you place deposit for the OTP.

Your paper ID and Singapore passport should be dated before the OTP date to entitled to zero ABSD.

However, I would suggest you to appeal through your lawyer to see whether there could be leniency from HDB.
