Is your current HDB purchased directly from HDB or resale? Have you gotten any grants for your current HDB?

Eligibility for proximity grants to your parents can be found here:

In addition, you should plan your sale and purchase transaction carefully if you are intending to obtain a HDB loan and your existing HDB is also on HDB loan. The timing will also be a critical factor for considerations. You can get the 1st timer grant if you did not apply for a grant before when purchasing your current HDB. If you had applied for a grant before, you are still eligible for the proximity housing grant of $20,000 if you are moving to within 4km from your parents.

If it's a resale HDB, have you take any CPF housing grant before?

How much is your combined income?
