Request for valuation has to be put up latest 1 day after receiving the Option To Purchase. It should be ready within 1 week and you have about another 2 weeks to settle the bank loan once the valuation is out, the 3 weeks option period for resale HDB is usually more than enough time to get all these done.

From my experience, both HDB valuation and bank approval will be completed estimated in a week. However do note that you may only apply for bank loan once you have obtained HDB valuation. As such, it is important for you to obtain an AIP from any bank even before you start on your house hunting process to obtain a reasonable assurance that the purchase price of the house is within your affordability.
