Upon successfully obtaining Singapore Citizenship (SC), anyone know when can I purchase a re-sale HDB?

As there is some formality to be done for getting SC. Just wondering at which point I can register an Intent to Buy? Upon the point of SC Approval? Or at the point when successfully gotten the new IC.

If anyone got experience on this?
As kind of in a hurry to buy a flat

HI,

Congrats on obtaining your Singapore Citizenship. I hope I can help you in your next step of life which is to get your own dream home.

Once you have the white slip, you will be able to start to buy a resale flat. However, for resale flat, you will need to also check on your eligibility. For example, if you are purchasing under your own name, you must be 35 years and above.

Another aspect to consider will be the finance of the property. What type of loan to take and how much loan you are eligible for are very important as well.
