Since you have already completed your MOP, you will be able to upgrade to a condo anytime. In fact, this is a good time to upgrade as the residential market has stablised since the last cooling measures by the government.

When upgrading, it is important to take note of 2 important issues, your cash flow and transition timeline. With careful planning, you will be able to reuse the CPF and funds from your current flat to finance the purchase of the condo. You will be able to minimise the initial capital outlay and also avoid paying the Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) since you will not be able to apply for the remission.

As for the timeline, we can plan it in such a way that you will be able to transit smoothly from your current place to the new place without the need for an interim place to stay or store your furniture.
