Hi,
For buying a resale HDB, you have to apply for the HFE (HDB Flat Eligibility). If you try to do this on your SingPass HDB app, you will know if you are eligible to do so as of now. So, try that first.

Hi,

1) The MOP starts on the key collection day which is also known as completion day.
2) You can check whether you have completed your MOP in MYHDB.
3) Alternatively, you can apply for the HFE which is quite tedious compared to taking a look in your MYHDB.

You can either submit your Intent To Sell or apply for HFE and they will indicate your eligibility to sell or purchase. If you are eligible, it means that your MOP has already been fulfilled, then you will be eligible to purchase a resale HDB flat in the open market and sell your current place in the open market too.

Hi,

May I know which batch of SERS exercise you fall under? If its before 2023, you should be following the previous regulations when MOP period starts counting from the date of selection of replacement flat, and 7 years from that date. I have helped a family (SERS exercise from tanglin halt) to sell off their HDB at Dawson and am familiar with your situation. You can buy a resale flat as long as your MOP is cleared.

Hi,

Yes it is possible. However, you will not be able to apply for a HFE letter, which means you cannot enter into an OTP. You will need to contact HDB on this matter, and ask them to change your eligibility in their system.
