This condo is so far from the nearest MRT (almost 1 km) and therefore definitely what you call "within walking distance to MRT".
Given that 80 percent of Singapore’s population will live within a 10-minute walk of an MRT station by 2030, and Vacanza is to be part of the less favourable 20 percent, why are the asking prices still so stiff for some of the units listed for sale?

Hi Ronnie,

In your perspective, probably the vicinity to the various amenities plays an important part in valuing a property, but there are also much more considerations for the valuing of a property. Are you interested to purchase anything in particular?

    I am looking out for a condo in the east.
    The only plus point for Vacanza is that i have lived in Kembangan for 30 years and can live with all the inconveniences abound (its also v near my parents' place). But surely one day when i want to sell everybody's going to tell me hey your unit is so far from the MRT, but the price is so high. That is why i am hesitant now.

The reason is because of the district as properties in District 14 is prized slightly higher than the rest. Even the rental yield is the highest as compare to the rest of the district. And of course not forgeting that Vacanza @ East Condo is a Freehold.
